African Wax Batiks

This gorgeous batik is 100% cotton. In Ghana it is batiked or tie dyed with beautiful colors and hand carved stamps. It is used for their own clothing and household decor.

A lovely jacquard design is woven into many of the fabrics which gives them a wonderful depth. The quality of these fabrics is outstanding! Use them in quilts, home decor or clothing. To get a very soft drapy chambray feel, wash in hot water and dry with tennis balls. All are dye fast and no shrinkage.
